Hello new Blog!

Well, the time has come… I need to move my blog to a new location.

This is the last post I will write on this blog. From now on all my wedding wedding pictures can be found at richardmay.cr.

I have some cool stuff going on under the hood there… not just about weddings. I will be posting about photography, technique and business. I am also getting ready to unroll some great new features.

Yay! Trash the Dress!

Melanie and Paul wanted to use their wedding clothes on last time before putting them away and why not just Trash the Dress. It is the last time Melaine will ever wear the dress so she might as well.

Selena and Luciano

Selena and Luciano got married at the La Paz Waterfall Gardens. This is a gorgeous place to hold a wedding. Set in the mountains, surrounded by the forest it is hard to beat if you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

There is a sense of serenity here that is almost impossible to find anywhere.

What a sunset!

It is true that Costa Rica is blessed with beautiful sunsets… but this one was just spectacular. The intensity of color floored me. We had a great time just hanging out until the last few beams of light just petered out and we really couldn’t shoot anymore.

Paola and Martín

Paola and Martín were married at the Hotel Marriot los Sueños at Playa Hermosa. This was one rowdy crowd that did not stop partying… a few days later the band told me they went on to the wee hours of the morning!

Ma Antonieta and Max

Ma Antonieta and Max held a fabulous wedding in Alajuela, just north of San Jose and the reception at Casa Conde. I loved that they really thought through what they wanted and all the meaningful simbols they used at their ceremony.
